Gaelscoil Uí Choimín is an all-Irish school that operates under the patronage of An Foras Pátrúnachta. It is situated in the town of Kilrush, Co. Clare.

The school was established in September 1991. It now has three classroom teachers and a learning support teacher based in the school.

Gaelscoil Uí Choimín strives to provide the highest standards in Irish medium education. Irish is the language of the school. Children participate in all school activities through the medium of Irish.

The children are at the heart of the school and every effort is made to foster the wellbeing of each child. Our wish is that all students would have an enjoyable, positive and worthwhile experience while attending our school. We appreciate the importance of developing an open and collaborative relationship between parents and school and we welcome parents’ input at any time.
