CHANGE OF MASS ROTA IN INIS CATHAIGH PASTORAL AREA.

 The rota below is for the first three weekends of December.

The Christmas and New Year rota will be announced in the coming weeks.

The following details were considered in drawing up this rota:

Fr Gerry Kenny and Fr Michael Casey (Cois Fharraige Pastoral Area) look after 9am Sunday Mass in Kilrush.

While Kilrush provides an early and late Mass in the Inis Cathaigh Pastoral Area, these Masses serve the people of Cois Fharraige Pastoral Area also.

Fr Peter O’ Loughlin will continue to celebrate Mass in Kilmihil on Sunday morning.

There will be NO Vigil Mass on Saturday night in Kilmihil.

As Fr Pat Larkin has responsibility for the administration of Kilmihil parish, he will need to celebrate Mass at least once a month in Kilmihil, so Fr Tony will need to be able to look after 10.30am and 12 noon Masses when that happens.

We’re trying to arrange Masses in such a way that if one priest is not available, the rota can still be looked after by one priest. That is not possible with the rota of Masses as it is. It will be possible with the new rota.
